VINCI St. Modwen’s groundworks and infrastructure contractor, Natta, has now finished the enabling works and have vacated the site. The internal access road along the southern boundary is finished and open to Market traffic. All associated underground utilities and infrastructure are installed. The recent connection of the new water main in Pascal Street was the last element of works to complete, alongside other works in the area that Thames Water had scheduled.
The pedestrian/cycle route - Merchants Way, which runs through New Covent Garden Market connecting Pascal Street to Ponton Road via railway ‘Arch 42’, continues to be fully operational and hosts a programme of cultural and community activities.
