We will be running a drop-in workshop on Saturday the 5th of August, 2-4pm on Merchant's Way, Nine Elms, London SW8 4SA - the pedestrian path alongside the New Covent Garden Market and this is a chance for anyone to get involved!
The Art4Space project will focus on creating a stunning corridor of autumn-coloured streamers made out of fabric!

This June we’re linking in with a number of themes at Merchants Way with the latest craft and design craze, supporting food and sustainability in the Great Big Green Week and other activities, as well as linking in with Art & Architecture tours around NIne Elms as part of Wandsworth Art Fringe and joining in with the latest fashion and dance tends.

From Wednesday 3rd May and across the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend, if you pop down to the VINCI ST. Modwen created Merchants Way, the public thoroughfare that connects Wandsworth Road with the US Embassy Quarter and passes through New Covent Garden Market, you’ll find two brilliant installations designed to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

Merchants Way is the new, colourful gateway through New Covent Garden Market to the riverside in Nine Elms. Consisting of a beautiful art installation bedecking the walls of the pathway, proud LGBTQ+ rainbow crossings on either side and opportunities for community activity within its alcoves, Merchants Way is bringing something new to Nine Elms.
