Construction work on the new Flower Market, next to the current main entrance on Nine Elms Lane, began a few months ago.
You can now watch New Covent Garden Market’s first time lapse video of the work that has taken place and see how the site has progressed over the last two months.
Work has also begun on the construction of the market’s new Entrance Plaza, which wil be moving south of the railway line later this summer. In Brand New Covent Garden Market, the new entrance will have five lanes to respond efficiently. The adjacent multi-storey car park has also seen a complete refurbishment, which will finish at the end of July.
