Following the successful completion of Phase Two of the trader blocks of the Fruit and Vegetable Market redevelopment this summer, which now houses 24 market businesses in state-of-the-art facilities, we look ahead to the next phase of building.
Construction work will now begin on Phase Three of the transformation of the Fruit and Vegetable Market, which when complete will house four further major wholesale and distribution businesses.
The programme kicked off with the structural demolition last month, which is due to be complete by the end of the year. The market tenants’ new units will then be developed and ready to move into by February 2024.
